Before I start getting flamed, I am not saying that! I am quoting Lyn Shepherd who wrote this piece in the Huffington Post.
While Ms Shepherd has the right to voice her opinion, I wonder whether she understands how markets work.
Ms Shepherd seems to think that book buying and book reading is a zero sum game in which one author’s sale is another author’s loss. Thankfully that is not the case.
That post astounds me so much and makes so little sense to me, despite repeated reading, that I can only conclude it’s a publicity seeking stunt by a relatively unknown author.
